The Hampton Roads Community Action Program (HRCAP) believes that when individuals and families learn to help themselves and each other, they build stronger communities.
This, in turn, creates a better Hampton Roads region for all. We all know individuals who embody the spirit of community building. Whether it’s a teacher, co-worker, teenager, faith leader, or community leader, it is someone who has a personal commitment to creating hope and building a better community.
The Community Builders Awards are given to individuals and organizations that have demonstrated a commitment to service and to transforming the lives of those within their community.
To submit nominations, please complete the online form by December 5, 2025, for the 2026 HRCAP Community Builders Awards.
